DESCRIPTION
The 2012 Rethinking Power and Resistance conference brought together academics and activists from throughout the Americas, foregrounding themes of arts as advocacy, pedagogies of alliance, and resisting criminalization. It highlighted three community-university collaborations with the Transgender Jail Project, Conspire Theatre, and the Polochic Evictions Counteraction. The collection consists of recordings of conference panels and workshops.
